Moses McClendon, II

Beginning his martial arts journey while in college, Sifu Moses came across many different styles, people and experiences. Finding Vign Tsun as recommended by the father of a close friend, he came to Richmond, VA and joined the Moy Yat Family in 2001 under Marcus "Moy Yee Tung" Evans. Taking no time off, no breaks and only stopping for short time-frames due to injury, Sifu Moses worked hard to achieve his goals. He opened the Hickory Hill Kung Fu Club with the Richmond City Department of Parks and Recreation and taught there for 5 years focused strictly on adult classes. Sifu Moses taught at a local Sports Training Facility in Richmond, Va close to 2 years before settling at his current location at 314.B N. 2nd Street in the Historic Jackson Ward location in Downtown Richmond, VA. With a passion for practical defense, Sifu Moses several workshops for Women's Defense and Traditional Application tactics to adults of all ages. He instructs to both male and female of all age ranges and has an emerging children's class.
