Si Dai Yat Chum was said to be one of the survivors from the destruction of the Shaolin Temple whom was one of the primary developers of the Wing Chun system. He taught the system onto Cheung Ng / Tan Sao Ng who then passed on the system to Wong Wah Bo, Hung Gan Biu, Dai Fa Min Kam / Painted Face Kam, Leung Yee Tai, Lo Man Gong, Siu Sang Hung Fook, Gao Lo Chung / Tall Man Chung
